DESCRIPTION: Numerous raised chocolate brown lesions are somewhat rounded and found primarily on the underside of the host's leaves. SPORES: Uredospores are brown, thick walled, ellipsoid to ovoid, minutely echinulate (Link). HABITAT: On the leaves of Greater Periwinkle especially in damp areas. SEASON: Frequent. April to July. |
